OIL PACKAGING FILLING OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor oil packaging and filling machines to ensure efficient production.
  • Maintain quality standards by conducting routine checks during the packaging process.
  • Perform minor adjustments and report mechanical faults to the maintenance team.
  • Ensure proper labelling, sealing, and safe handling of products.
  • Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent
  • Certificate or training in machine operation/ production will be an added advantage
    Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is desirable.
  • Ability to work in shifts and under minimum supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Job Opportunity: ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain motors, control panels, PLC systems, instrumentation, transformers, and power distribution systems.
  • Support production operations by minimizing electrical downtime and improving equipment efficiency.
  • Implement electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements.
  • Participate in installation, commissioning, and upgrading of electrical systems.
  • Work closely with mechanical, production, and engineering teams to improve plant performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered with relevant engineering professional body.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in food processing, oil milling, soap manufacturing, or similar industries will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCS, automation, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Job Opportunity: Injection Moulding Supervisor (Buckets Production)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate injection moulding operators in the production of plastic buckets
  • Monitor machine operations and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Set and adjust machine parameters including temperature, pressure, speed, and cycle times.
  • Ensure production targets, efficiency, and quality standards are achieved
  • Conduct regular checks on finished products and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot machine and process issues and coordinate with maintenance teams
  • Plan production schedules and allocate manpower effectively
  • Train and guide operators on machine operation, safety, and quality requirements
  • Monitor raw material usage and minimize production waste.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and shift handovers
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma/Certificate in Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in injection moulding operations, preferably in plastic bucket/container manufacturing.
  • Experience supervising injection moulding machines and production teams.
  • Good knowledge of mould setting, machine troubleshooting, and quality control.
  • Ability to work shifts and manage a production environment.
