Y-MALAWI IS HIRING: YOUTH OFFICER

Y-Malawi invites qualified, committed applicants for two positions supporting church empowerment, youth programming, safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting.

Youth Officer – TA Mphomwa

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead youth programs, Bible Study groups, and Farming God’s Way activities.
  • Support child protection and Girls of Distinction activities in youth clubs.
  • Submit monthly reports on progress, testimonies, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Uphold Y-Malawi ethics and communicate with the Area Coordinator.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualification in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Commitment to Christian faith and ministry.
  • Clean criminal record, with no history of child abuse.
  • Strong computer, reporting, communication, planning, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse people.
