BLASTING AND DRILLING TECHNICIAN TRAINEE
Location: Balaka
Role Summary
The Blasting and Drilling technician trainee will learn and assist with drill planning, blast design support, rig operation basics, and post-blast inspection under supervision. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate record-keeping while gaining hands-on experience with drilling and blasting equipment.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Mining engineering, Geology, or related technical field.
- Prior exposure to mining site operations, apprenticeships, or vocational training is an advantage.
- Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, basic understanding of explosives safety and drilling principles.
