MINING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TRAINEE
Location: Balaka
Role Summary
The Mining maintenance technician trainee will assist maintenance teams in troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing mining equipment and plant machinery. The role focuses on learning preventive maintenance routines, fault diagnosis, and safe workshop practices while supporting shutdowns and routine inspections.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Maintenance engineering or related field.
- Practical workshop experience, apprenticeships, or vocational training preferred.
- Basic mechanical and hydraulic knowledge, hand tools proficiency, willingness to learn welding and fabrication basics.
- Strong safety mindset, ability to work shifts and in physically demanding environments.
