LifeCo Asset Management Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Officer (Lilongwe).
Overall Responsibility
Conducting sales development activities for the asset management company by soliciting business from the market ensuring sales are achieved according to targets set out in the Sales Plan.
Main Responsibilities Shall Include:
- Identify, target, and onboard prospective retail and corporate clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Ensuring achievement of sales targets.
- Retain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Formulation and implementation of annual sales strategy and budget.
- Assist Management in developing innovative ways for product distribution and implement agreed strategy.
- Track and report sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to senior management.

- Mature, well groomed, trustworthy with a competitive attitude and a team player.
- Self-driven and results oriented with a positive outlook.
- An excellent face to face and telephone communicator with winning presentation and negotiating skills.
- Confident, hardworking and enthusiastic.
Experience and Qualification
- Degree in Marketing, Accounting, or Economics.
- Chartered Marketer qualification will be an added advantage.
- 5–7 years’ experience in Business Development and Sales within the Investment Management industry.
- Must be computer literate.
