1) Protection &Inclusion  Coordinator (1 Post, Mangochi Based)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Lead Protection and Inclusion (Gender, Ageing, Disability): Oversee gender analysis, SADD data collection and strategy dev., enhance safeguarding initiatives, GBV principles are applied and stake holder engagement in P&I activities.
  • Organisational Strategy & Action Plan: Develop and implement a Protection and inclusion strategy for senior management approval by ensuring protection-sensitive assessments.
  • Staff Training & Compliance: Build staff capacity on protection and inclusion, ensuring adherence to PSEA policies and feedback mechanisms.
  • Project Design & Technical Support: Contribute in new projects needs assessments by providing expertise that mainstream faith based protection and inclusion.

Qualification & Experience:

  • At least BSc in Social Science, Gender, Law, Human Rights with 3 years experienceor a related field with NGO on development or emergency project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good interpersonal negotiation skills, willing to work in remote or emergency settings
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, commitment to humanitarian principles and aligned to the mission and vision of IR and adhere to the org. strategic objectives.

2. Finance Coordinator (1 Post, Blantyre Based)

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Report to Finance Manager and Support Finance Manager in preparation of monthly Fund Note Report, donor reports and verify the month end closing transactions.
  • Implement & ensure that IR Malawi staff adheres to the organization’s financial procedures by Maintaining overall budget control and monitor the project’s cash flow according to the project’s requirements
  • Good understanding and compliance oflegal financial Malawi government requirements by applying  existing laws/ adherence.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisorfrom time to time.

 Qualification & Experience:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • 5 Years NGO experienced in accounting, finance and demonstrate skills in the developing finance/ accounting policies, procedures and reporting systems in the donor context of an international NGO.
  • Excellent IT Systems, use of MS Word, Excel, and Power-Point. sz

3. Construction/WASH Officer (1 Post) [Mangochi based]

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Project Planning & Design – Develop technical designs, drawings, BQs, and bid documents for construction and WASH projects.
  • Procurement & Contract Management – Prepare tender documents, participate in contractor selection, and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
  • Construction & WASH Implementation – Supervise and monitor the construction of classrooms, toilets, health facilities, housing, and solar-powered infrastructure.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance – Conduct site inspections, verify materials, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards/ stake holder engagement

Qualification & Experience:

  • A BSc in civil engineering, WASH Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • At least of 3 years of experience in construction and WASH project management with NGOs Proficiency in Auto CAD, ArchiCAD, or other relevant design software, te and good verbal and written communication skills is a must
