MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Duties and Responsibilities

• Developing medium to long term plans for the maintenance department.
• Ensuring availability of spares and tools for the hotel various equipment.
• Formulating annual preventative maintenance schedule.
• Conducting room care program regularly.
• Supervising and certifying contractors work by ensuring that it is carried out according to set standards.
• Monitoring maintenance costs.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Attributes desired:

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from any institution recognized by NCHE; those with Bachelor’s degree in the above disciplines will have an added advantage.
• A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel setup.
• Must be a team player.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good technical services competencies.
