Our client, a leading telecommunication Service provider is seeking energetic, aggressive, and self-motivated and result oriented individual to join its team in the position mentioned below to work under its Supply Chain department:

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Location: Lilongwe

THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Proper tracking of the commercial and Network Equipment stocks.
  • Regular follow up with partners to ensure compliance with advised delivery timelines.
  • Escalate any delays experienced.
  • Liaise with in house clearing officer to facilitate and follow up on custom clearance and payments of applicable taxes.
  • Ensure receipts and coding of assets in the system.
  • Advise on users on receipts of any kind of stock in the warehouse.
  • Manage warehousing facility in terms of storage capacity.
  • Ensure adequate arrangements and provision of required warehouse space.
  • Facilitate the disposal of obsolete or faulty or damaged stocks in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.
  • Implementing process and improvement of audit scores to enhance the efficiency of warehousing and logistic function.
  • Develop/review SLA’s to clarify expectations between different parties.
  • Ensure that all warehouses are following the warehouse inventory procedures as per company requirements. E.g., SCM blue book and Warehouse manual.
  • Tracking of all receipts and dispatch of commercial stock by ensuring that not stock is issued without proper authorization accountability.
  • Managing all logistics function for commercial stock for both internal and external customers.
  • Providing all status reports on Freight, Forwarding & Clearing of all goods purchased by company, and ensuring that proper records are always maintained with all supporting documents well filed.
  • Managing courier services provider to deliver high level of services to distributors and the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all partners (internal and external) are compiling to Order Managements (OM) process as per company policy and requirement.
  • Ensure that warehouse staffs have right access to oracle system.
  • Providing inventory reports for all items that are kept in the warehouse and tracking ageing for the same.
  • Ensure that monthly stocktaking is conducted, and reconciliations of all stocks happen between system stock balances and physical count. Any variances that might occur are properly escalated and action taken.
  • Liaise with users and finance department to ensure that all commercial stock is treated in accordance with the accounting guidelines and rules.

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENT / QUALIFICATION

  • Advanced Diploma with Logistics.
  • 2 years of work experience in Warehousing and Logistics will be added advantages.
  • Excellent in MS Office
  • Accountable for all Warehouse activities and reporting.
  • Be a self – starter and be able to manage warehouse team.
