Change Educational Teacher Recruitment Agency (CHETRA) is a Malawian organization placing quality teachers, administrators as well as headteachers in schools within Blantyre.

CHETRA is looking for suitable candidates to apply for the following job opportunities at the newly established SAINT SEBASTIAN INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE PRIMARY SCHOOL in Chileka, BLANTYRE:

1. School Administrator – must be female

Qualification and Skills

  • A degree in Business Administration, or related field with at least two years’ experience working in an administrative role in a school following the Cambridge syllabus
    OR a diploma with at least four years’ experience working in an administrative role in a school following the Cambridge syllabus
  • Great marketing skills

Personal Attributes

  • Must be computer literate
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication skills in English and Chichewa
  • Thorough and timely in carrying out tasks
  • Must be able to work unsupervised
  • Hard working
  • Passion for working with children

2. Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Reception Teachers (3 teachers)

Qualification and Skills

  • Qualified teacher with at least a diploma in teaching
  • At least 3 years’ experience in teaching in a school following both Montessori and the Cambridge syllabus
  • Training in Special Needs Education or experience working with students with SEND will be an added advantage.
