Call for Taxi Service Provider – CBM Malawi
CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V (CBM) is an international development organization committed to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities and those at risk in the poorest communities. CBM Malawi invites qualified and reputable taxi service providers to submit expressions of interest for the provision of transportation services a one-year period.
Scope of Services
The selected service provider will be required to:
- Provide airport transfer services for CBM staff, consultants, and guests.
- Provide local transportation services for CBM staff within Malawi on an as-needed basis.
- Ensure timely, safe, and reliable transportation services.
- Maintains vehicles in good working conditions and comply with all applicable road safety regulations.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested service providers must meet the following requirements:
- Be a legally registered taxi service provider in Malawi.
- Possess a valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TPIN).
- Demonstrate the ability to provide services on a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week basis.
- Have a fleet of clean, safe, roadworthy, and comfortable vehicles.
- Employ professional, courteous, and reliable drivers holding valid driving licenses.
- Demonstrate experience in providing transportation services to corporate clients, developmentorganizations, or similar institutions.
Submission Requirements
Interested applicants should submit the following documents:
- A cover letter expressing interest in providing the services.
- Company profile detailing experience and capacity.
- Copies of valid business registration documents.
- Copies of valid TPIN registration.
- Recent photographs of the fleet available for service. These will be verified during physical due diligence
- Contact details of at least three (3) traceable referees.
- Interested applicants should submit the following documents:
- A schedule of rates for airport transfers and local transportation services (where applicable).
Safeguarding and Confidentiality
The successful service provider will be required to comply with CBM Malawi’s Code of Conduct,
Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) Policy, and Safeguarding Standards. All information accessed or obtained in the course of service delivery must be treated with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
