Data Analyst
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated & enthusiastic candidates to take up the position of Data Analyst in our IT Department.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of IT, the Data Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and analytical models supporting business insights, risk management, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data in the bank’ s different systems, identifying patterns, relationships and trends
- Analyze data in the bank’ s different systems and identify gaps and inconsistencies and lead in data cleanup of the identified gaps
- Develop predictive and machine-learning models for credit scoring, fraud detection, and customer analytics.
- Prepare analytical reports and dashboards (Power BI, Python, R, SQL).
- Support regulatory reporting and enterprise digital transformation initiatives. This includes CRB reports, IFRS9 reports etc.
- Create processes, scripts and tools to generate accurate and timely reports
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to internal stakeholders
- Translate business needs into analytical solutions and dashboards.
- Manage and optimize data warehouses, lakes, and big data platforms.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills / Competencies
- Bachelor’ s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Data Analysing / ML / Cloud certifications are an added advantage
- ITIL Foundation
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Analysing, analytics, or Bl in a reputable organization.
