CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Head of Transactional Banking
The Head of Transactional Banking reporting to the Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking will drive transactional sales, cross-selling, and client engagement to grow revenue and market share ahead of competitors. It will focus on enhancing service delivery, ensuring compliance, and strengthening client relationships. Additionally, it will involve developing digital solutions and collaborating across departments to optimize offerings and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Product Management
- Lead client engagement by identifying needs, developing solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive proposals, revenue, and transactional banking targets.
- Analyze client bases and local markets to identify growth opportunities, improve wallet share, and understand buyer behavior, competitor activity, and integration opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, client feedback, and product performance to drive innovation, fill product gaps, and ensure compliance with service standards.
- Streamline transaction processes by enhancing customer journeys, implementing efficiency measures, and tracking KPis such as transaction volumes, turnaround times, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate across teams and regions to identify opportunities, align strategies, and implement best practices for process improvement and revenue growth.
Portfolio Management
- Lead portfolio planning, deal closure, and execution while identifying opportunities across payments, cash management, trade finance, and foreign exchange solutions.
- Drive innovation by introducing new products such as tax and utility payment integrations, digital services, custodial offerings.
- Develop value propositions and guide Relationship
- Managers to grow portfolio revenues by increasing wallet share through CASA balances and throughput.
- Maximize cash and trade revenue by resolving product-related challenges, adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines, and conducting regular audits to mitigate risks.
- Foster a transactional-led culture, aiming to become the market leader in service efficiency, product innovation, and client care for transactional banking,
Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies
- Full and extensive knowledge of acquiring products and services:
- In-depth knowledge of competitor solutions.
- Knowledge of the requirements across business sectors.
- Fully aware of industry trends.
- Proven success rate in negotiation in a corporate environment
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Management or a related field.
- Professional Banking qualification preferred
- At least 5 years in a similar role with a proven track record of achievement and high performance
