SUPPLY OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES

Banja La Mtsogolo (BLM) is a Malawian Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), established in 1987 to improve the quality of life in Malawi through the provision of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and primary healthcare. BLM is requesting tenders for:

  1. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  1. Please provide the Price Quotation using your official Proforma Invoice quoting the tender number
  2. All quotations received will be evaluated in accordance with the requirements outlined in this Call for Tender. Evaluation will be conducted in two stages:
  3. Administrative Compliance – Bidders must submit all the required documentation listed under Clause 4. Failure to provide any mandatory document may result in disqualification.
  4. Technical Compliance – Bidders must fully comply with all technical requirements, including but not limited to the manufacturer’s details, product brand name, batch number, PMRA product license number, expiry period, and delivery period as specified in Clauses 5–9.

Only quotations that are administratively and technically compliant will proceed to the financial evaluation.

  1. Enclose the following documentation:
  1. A copy of your Trading License
  2. A copy of your valid Annual Tax Clearance Certificate
  3. Valid PPDA Certificate
  4. Valid Certificate from PMRA
  5. A list of recent LPOs / contracts performed
  1. Provide manufacturer details i.e. Full Physical address of the manufacturing Plant
  2. Indicate the product brand name
  3. Indicate product batch number and PMRA product license number
  4. The expiry date for all items should be 18 months above. Please indicate expiry dates
  5. A 7-day delivery period is expected for all items on call order. Please indicate delivery period
  6. Submission: Quotations must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope and deposited in the tender box marked ‘SUPPLY OF LIGNOCAINE’ at the support office and addressed to:

The Internal Procurement & Disposal Committee, Banja La Mtsogolo, Box 1854, Lilongwe. by 16:30hrs on Monday 03rd August 2026.

 NOTE: A contract will be awarded to the bidder whose quotation is determined to be administratively compliant, technically responsive, and offers the lowest evaluated price. BLM reserves the right to reject any quotation that fails to meet the mandatory administrative or technical requirements, regardless of the quoted price.

 Bids must be submitted on or before the closing date and time specified in this Call for Tender. Any bid received after the deadline will be rejected and will not be considered for evaluation, regardless of the reason for the delay.
