TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES: NURSE MIDWIFE TECHNICIAN (NMT) AND COMMUNITY MIDWIFE ASSISTANT (CMA)

Nkhoma College of Nursing & Midwifery invites interested applicants to undergo 3-year Technician Diploma training program in Nurse Midwife Technician (NMT) for the September 2026 intake. Aspiring candidates should be within the age range of 18- 45 by the date of application. Candidates should possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with four credits in English, Biology and Physical Science or physics or chemistry plus one of the following science subjects Mathematics, Agriculture, Home Economics, General Science or Geography NOTE: If Mathematics is not a credit, it should at least be a strong pass of seven points (7).

The College is also receiving applications for Community Midwifery Assistant (CMA) 18-month program. Candidates should possess a full Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with credits in English and Biology.

The fees for both training programs is K750,000.00 per semester for non-residential students. Accommodation and catering are arranged separately.

Applicants meeting the above requirements should deposit K25,000 non-refundable processing fees to College Bank Account: National Bank of Malawi, Capital City, Account name: Nkhoma IGA Account; Account Number: 878577.
