Local Government Service Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified Malawian candidates to fill the following vacant posts existing at Mwanza District Council
Post: Senior Nursing & Midwifery Technician (2) (Serving Officers Only)
Grade: I/M6
Location : Mwanza District Council
Duties
- Provide direct nursing/midwifery care to all patients with health problems and use nursing/midwifery processes to asses, plan, implement and evaluate nursing/midwifery care,
- Build therapeutical relationship with patients, their relatives and fellow health workers,
- Observe patient’s condition, progress and document findings and implementations,
- Evaluate care given to a patient and takes appropriate action,
- Conduct health education to individuals, families and communities,
- Control and monitor resources,
- Supervise nurse midwife technicians, subordinates and students.
Qualifications
Applicants must be a serving nursing and midwifery technician (Grade HK/M8) with a minimum of four (4) years within Local authorities.
