
Women's Legal Resources Centre (WOLREC)
A consortium of comprised of WUSC and WOLREC has a received a grant from the Canadian government through the Global Affairs Canada to implement a 4-year Action for Paid Childcare Sector Transformation (ACT) project which uses an innovative systems approach to drive gender-transformative, locally owned, collaborative action to transform paid childcare from a job of last resort to a vocation of choice. The project also aspires for the paid childcare sector to become one of economic prosperity for women in Kenya and Malawi. ACT aligns with Canada’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 on gender equality and empowerment, SDG 8 on decent work for all, and Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) action area on growth that works for everyone. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible for the successful management of all monitoring and evaluation of the whole proposed action within WOLREC. She/ He will be supervised by the WOLREC Monitoring and Evaluation Manager. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
- Maintain and administer the M&E database; analyze and aggregate findings : Monitor all program activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the program outputs
- Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results
- Participate in annual project reviews and assist in preparing relevant reports.
- Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities.
- Perform other duties as required by management
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Science, Community Development, Rural Development with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

- Self-starter/motivated
- Able to work under minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills
