MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (NF3)

The position is tenable at NEEF Headquarters.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Services

Job Purpose

To be responsible for overseeing and managing the marketing and communications function to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Providing leadership and guidance to the marketing and communications team, setting goals, establishing priorities, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  2. Leading development, review, and implementation of policies, plans, strategies, programs, standards, and budgets for marketing and communication.
  3. Overseeing development of brand guidelines and templates and promotional materials that effectively communicate the Fund’s services.
  4. Developing content for the print and online media that best conveys key messages and meets the school’s business goals.
  5. Developing and implementing a newsletter strategy for internal and external audiences.
  6. Marketing the Fund’s products, services and brand.
  7. Managing all trade show participation
  8. Initiating, analyzing and conducting market surveys.
  9. Preparing regular reports for management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations or a related field obtained from an accredited institution.
  • Must be a registered member of a relevant professional body in Malawi.
  • 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with 3 years in a similar role in customer service management or marketing roles, preferably within the financial sector or non-profit organizations.
