On behalf of our valued client, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Front Office Sales Executive to join their team and contribute to their success.
Location: Lilongwe, Malawi
1. ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Front Office Sales Executive. This individual will be the face of our company, responsible for managing customer interactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate must be a quick learner, comfortable with technology, and possess high integrity.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Engagement: Welcoming walk-in customers and providing exceptional service.
- Sales & Lead Generation: Proactively bringing new sales to the company and meeting targets.
- Communication: Managing company WhatsApp inquiries and making professional sales/follow-up calls.
- Financial Handling: Processing cash sales, managing the cash drawer, and ensuring zero discrepancies.
- Reporting: Maintaining daily sales and inventory reports in both physical notebooks and digital formats (Microsoft Excel & Word).
- Product Knowledge: Quickly learning technical details of our product line to assist customers effectively.
- Office Maintenance: Ensuring the office remains clean and organized on a scheduled basis.
3. WORKING HOURS & COMPENSATION
- Standard Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Includes 1-hour lunch break) and Saturday: 08:00 AM – 02:00 PM.
- Overtime: Any additional work time beyond standard hours is paid at 1.5x the hourly rate.
- Sundays/Public Holidays: Any work on these days is paid at 2x (Double) the hourly rate.
- Monthly Salary: MWK 200,000.00
- Lunch Allowance: A daily allowance of MWK 3,000.00 will be provided for each working day.
- Note: This allowance will be replaced by company-provided meals once internal catering is implemented.
4. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or related field with at least 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to learn complex product information quickly.
- Punctuality and reliability in daily reporting.
5. CORPORATE POLICY & ETHICS
Our client’s company maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding malpractice. Any instance of theft, stock manipulation, or financial dishonesty will result in immediate termination and severe legal action. High integrity is a core requirement for this position.
