VACANCY
Nkhoma College of Nursing and Midwifery of Nkhoma CCAP Synod invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Dean of Nursing (Grade F) and Lecturer (Grade I) tenable at Nkhoma.
1.DEAN OF NURSING
JOB SPECIFICATION
The Dean of Nursing is a Registered Nurse /Midwife) who understands nursing and Midwifery profession, practice and education. He/she is an institution Manager expected to ensure smooth implementation of policies. He/she is expected to demonstrate good leadership skills and ready to work odd hours as the job demands. Analytical, communication and reporting skills are required.
QUALIFICATION AND ABILITY
- Masters in Nursing/Midwifery majoring in any one of the nursing disciplines.
- Registered Nurse with the NMCM
- At least 3 years’ experience as Nurse Educator
2. LECTURER
JOB SPECIFICATION
Educational background is an added advantage to the understanding of teaching profession. S/he implements College curriculum in the training of student nurse both in classroom and clinical area.
QUALIFICATION AND ABILITY
- Degree in relevant studies of nursing.
- Those with Masters will be considered
- At least two years of clinical experience
