Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Regulatory Compliance Analyst tenable at Head Office, Blantyre.

Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supports the Regulatory Compliance Manager in the ongoing assessment and monitoring of regulatory compliance across the bank’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the compilation and maintenance of the Regulatory Universe.
  • Conduct reviews and assessments of regulatory compliance within business units.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory compliance performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of regulatory compliance policies.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance training and awareness initiatives.
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare compliance reports.
  • Provide support in the monitoring and testing of regulatory compliance controls.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the customer complaints registers in branches and depart-ments.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements as outlined in the Conduct Risk Management Policy.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient in conducting compliance reviews and assessments.
  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and advisory skills.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Social Science, Commerce or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
