
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)
The Anti-Corruption Bureau was established by an Act of Parliament to receive and investigate complaints of alleged or suspected corrupt practices; to prosecute offences under the Corrupt Practices Act; to investigate and report on the conduct of any public officer which is connected or conducive to corrupt practices; to take necessary measures for the prevention of corruption in public and private bodies and to solicit public support in the fight against corruption. ACB is in the process of recruiting suitable persons to fill vacant posts as follows:
Job Title: Assistant Human Resource Management Officer (2 Positions)
Grade: 9/K
Division: Corporate Services
Location: Blantyre & Zomba
Purpose of the Job
To ensure Human Resource Management activities are done according to the objectives and goals of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining Human Resource Records System.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of performance management process.
Attending Staff Welfare issues. - Ensuring that establishment lists are compiled and updated to reflect staff strengths and vacancies.
- Updating Personal Files for all staff
- Ensure that leave for Staff members are properly recorded and maintained
Attributes and competences
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Computer literate
- The ability to manage time effectively in a high-pressure setting
- Detail-oriented personality.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/ Level (5 ABMA or ABE. UK) in Human Resource Management
- Two years’ experience in Human Resource Management work
Details of the Posts are as follows:
- Employment will be on a three (3) year contract period, renewable depending on performance.
