
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)
The Anti-Corruption Bureau was established by an Act of Parliament to receive and investigate complaints of alleged or suspected corrupt practices; to prosecute offences under the Corrupt Practices Act; to investigate and report on the conduct of any public officer which is connected or conducive to corrupt practices; to take necessary measures for the prevention of corruption in public and private bodies and to solicit public support in the fight against corruption. ACB is in the process of recruiting suitable persons to fill vacant posts as follows:

Purpose of the job
Receive, analyze and assess allagations of corruption, conduct criminal investigations on such allegations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive any complaints, report or other information of any alleged or suspected corrupt practice or offence.
- Analyze and assess any complaint, report or other information of suspected corrupt practice or offence to recommend investigations.
- Conduct criminal investigation on any authorized complaint, report or other information of suspected corrupt practice or offence
- Conduct criminal investigation on any offence under any written law disclosed in the course of investigating any alleged or suspected corrupt practice or offence
- Conducting any inve
- Conducting any investigative activities that will assist tin the collection of relevant evidence during criminal investigations such as, searches and surveillance operations, and witness and suspect investigative interviews.
- Collect, review, and analyze all collected evidence, including digital, document and other forms of evidence, to determine its relevance and reliability.
- Prepare detailed and comprehensive investigations report for all completed investigation cases.
- Maintain a detailed record of all allocated cases, demonstrating their status and the progress made.
- Providing monitoring and evaluation data to supervisor on activities of the allocated investigation cases.
- Planning and conducting arrests of suspected criminal offenders.
- Monitoring the guarding of suspects when and if in hospital
- Escorting suspects to court and prison
- Identifying and briefing witnesses before court
- Testifying in court.
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by leadership from time to time.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science or Economics, Computer studies, Procurement, Business Administration and Accounting.
- Prior work experience in accounting, auditing and financial investigations is desirable.
- Those with knowledge in investigative digital forensics will have an added advantage.
Details of the Posts are as follows:
- Employment will be on a three (3) year contract period, renewable depending on performance.
