Microloan Foundation (Malawi) Limited is a premier microfinance institution which provides financial services and training support to help women set up and manage sustainable businesses in their communities. We are currently seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to assist with driving the balanced growth of our portfolio of borrowing customers at various branches in the Northern, Central and Southern Regions of Malawi.
SHARED SERVICES SUPPORT OFFICER
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
- Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by department
- Develop training and onboarding material for staff members
- Conduct headcount reconciliations for staff members
- Respond and resolve where possible routine customer service enquiries, issues and complaints, escalating to the branch manager/departmental head as necessary.
- Prepare relevant HR metrics to inform decision making authorities
- Perform and supervise general administrative activities such as, filing, photocopying, printing, processing outgoing and incoming mail, routing and screening all incoming calls, and distributing messages to appropriate team members.
- Ensure that general office supplies are always adequate to facilitate ongoing operational efficiency of the Head Office and engage the Operations Manager to procure additional items when necessary.
- Facilitate the hands-on management an execution of intermittent office projects such as staff movements.
- Assist in the organization of meetings, conferences, visits, workshops, etc. for technical assistance and capacity building for partners as directed from time to time;
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in either Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Strategic Management, Social Science or Business Administration/Management from an accredited institution with three (3) years work experience
