Vizara Plantations Limited, situated some 10 km away from Chintheche turn off (M5 Road) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position of:
Security Officer (1 post)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Malawi School certificate of Education (MSCE) and those with higher qualifications will have an added advantage.
- Ex MDF or Malawi police service
- Aged between 30 and 40 with not less than 10 years of experience
- Should have no criminal records
- Excellent in written and oral communication skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
These shall include but not limited to;
- Organize and train security guards
- Detect crime on the Estate/ company premises
- Instill discipline into the security guards
- Conduct day and night patrols
- Conducting forest and boundaries patrols
- Attend to day to day deployment of security guards and ensuring timekeeping among security guards.
- Conducting security meetings with all heads of department regularly
- Submission of written weekly reports to the General Manager
REMUNERATIONS
Remuneration will be in line with the experience and suitability of the candidate.
