Organisational Context
Stephanos Foundation is a Reformed Christian, charitable, International Non-Governmental Organisation based in Chilangoma, Chileka, Blantyre.
The initiative for the Foundation started in The Netherlands and was established in Malawi in 1994. Stephanos Foundation is registered with NGORA, CONGOMA, and a member of ECAM.
Currently Stephanos Foundation has a vacancy for a Housekeeper.
POSITION: HOUSEKEEPER
Reporting to: Human Resource Officer
Overall Job Purpose
The incumbent shall maintain the guesthouses in habitable order and provide for catering services, while ensuring food stocks are always sufficient.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Provision of laundry services
- Cooking meals for the house occupants
- Preparing and managing budgets for the houses
- Maintaining the houses in a tidy manner through available means
Person Qualifications
- Diploma in Hospitality/Housekeeping
- Malawi School Certificate of Education
- Two years’ experience preferred
- Good command of English
- Customer oriented and representative
- Ready to work in shifts
- At least aged 18 years
