Job Description
To drive business strategies for property and develop execution plans. Actively monitor the implementation of the business plans, and preparation and reporting of performance reports. Cultivating and nurturing effective relationships and engagements with key stakeholders for the property business.
The role also entails managing the property team for the delivery of the business plan.
Strategy formulation and implementation
To lead in developing strategy and implementation plans for the property business taking into account key stakeholder expectations. Ensure alignment with the wider Old Mutual Group strategy.
Focus areas for the business plans include strategic initiatives, addressing customer experience, maintaining buildings in good state of repair, and financial targets.
Overseeing property leasing and facility management
Drive activities pertaining to property space leasing strategy, rental collection, and facilities management both for hard and soft services. Implement effective property refurbishment program.
Driving property development and consultancies service offering
Initiative to identify property development and consultancy opportunities to meet the needs of the customers as part of business development. Activities to include planning, and execution of pipeline.
Leadership and people management
Identify and communicate, to relevant stakeholders (internal and external), the actions needed to implement the property business strategy and business plans. Motivate and develop the property team to commit to the achievement of the business goals.
Ensure effective stakeholder management
To manage all key stakeholders for the property business both internal and external.
