Business Development Manager

Applications are invited from knowledgeable, experienced, and skilled candidates to fill the position of Business Development Manager tenable in Lilongwe.

Reporting to the Head of Simpo Cash, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth for the Simpo Cash mobile money business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulates monthly and annual sales plans.
  • Collaborates with colleagues in different departments to deliver the right value proposition to the customer.
  • Negotiates prices and terms with customers and prepares sales agreements.
  • Prospects and closes bulk cash transfer deals in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Recruitment of billers into the channel in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Mobilising account opening activations in line with agreed sales plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience in mobile money/ agency Banking or Related environment
  • Demand management skills
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Previous experience in relationship management/ sales field.
  • Proven sales track record (meeting or exceeding targets).
