Opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant positions tenable in various Sunbird Hotels, across the country.

BUSINESS CENTRE ASSISTANT

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing secretarial, internet and email services to guests.
  • Handling guests complaints in the Business Centre.
  • Ensuring proper handling of operating equipment and stationery.
  • Cleaning computers, photocopiers, printers and ordering stationery.
  • Raising guests’ bill and forwarding them to Reception for posting.
  • Preparing and filing sales summary sheets.
  • Banking collections at the Reception.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Competences and Attributes desired:

  • Certificate in Secretarial Studies from any institution recognized by NCHE.
  • A full Malawi School Certificate of Education with credits in English and Mathematics.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related capacity.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
