The Provision of Consultancy Services for Deworming and Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation Monitoring and Evaluation surveys
Evidence Action is a not-for-profit Organisation, registered in both Washington, D.C., and Malawi, with a mission to scale evidence-based and cost-effective programs that reduce the burden of poverty. Evidence Action continues to provide technical assistance to the Government of Malawi (GoM) through the ongoing partnership with the Malawi Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) to implement an integrated deworming and IFA supplementation program. The program started in 2024 and targets school-age children and adolescents. Our partnership with GoM is in place for an initial period of three years until 2027.
Evidence Action invites sealed proposals from reputable and experienced firms to pprovide Consultancy service for Deworming and Iron Folic Acid Supplementation Monitoring and Evaluation Surveys.
Scope of work:
The selected monitoring and evaluation firm shall implement M&E surveys for the integrated deworming and IFA supplementation program. The specific surveys, and their corresponding activity, included in the RFP are:
- Activity: Distribution Day monitoring [Tentative monitoring dates: September-October 2026]
- HSA survey
- Teacher survey
- School distribution observation survey
- Community distribution survey
- Parent survey
- Activity: Coverage evaluation [Tentative monitoring dates: October-November 2026]
- Coverage evaluation survey (deworming only) in schools and communities
Obtaining documents:
Interested firms are requested to obtain detailed Request for proposal (RFP) documents, including comprehensive terms of reference and evaluation criteria, by sending an email to procurement.malawi@evidenceaction.org
Proposal submission format:
Proposal submission should be provided electronically via email to procurement.malawi@evidenceaction.org and clearly reference – EAM/RFP/002/2026: Provision of Consultancy Services for Deworming and Iron and Folic Acid Supplementation Monitoring and Evaluation Surveys. On or before Monday, 29th June,2026,17:00hrs. Please submit the bid form (Annex A) as part of your submission. In addition, a submission checklist and financial proposal template are provided in Annex B and Annex C, respectively. No hard copies are required.
Late submissions will not be accepted, Evidence Action reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals
