About the Position

We are seeking a trustworthy, organised, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate cash records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process cash, mobile money, bank card, and other customer payments.
• Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintain accurate cash records.
• Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve payment-related queries.
• Adhere to all company financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must possess an ICAM Diploma with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Must have not less than 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Those with a Degree in Accounting have an added advantage.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
