ActionAid Malawi (AAM) is a locally registered non-governmental organization under the Company’s Act limited by Guarantee and is an affiliate of ActionAid International, a federation of national organizations working in over 45 countries in Africa, Asia, Americas and Europe regions. ActionAid has been working in Malawi since 1991 and works in partnership with communities, community-based organizations, civil society, social movements, and governments, across the world to fight and eradicate poverty, injustice and exclusion.
ActionAid Malawi is hereby inviting applications from eligible and reputable companies who wish to be included on the list of ActionAid Prequalified Suppliers for the period January 2026 – December 2027 in the categories listed and explained below: –

Eligible suppliers should provide ActionAid Malawi with the following information:
- Brief overview of the company and company profile including job description of key staff
- Copies of Business Registration Certificate or Certificate of incorporation
- Evidence of TAX compliance (MRA VAT Registration or Tax Clearance certificate)
- Geographical Location of Head Office and presence in Malawi
- Evidence of Financial Capability (Bank statements and Audited Financial Statements, last 2 years)
- Current membership of relevant National Professional Bodies (e.g. NCIC, PPDA, MIPS)
- Market Value/ Cost Structure / Price list for supplies, equipment or services provided.
- At least three References from NGOs of the same nature as ActionAid Malawi
- Working websites or business email addresses
Suppliers who are on our current approved list MUST ALSO APPLY if they want to be considered for the new list.
AAM reserves the right to confirm the information given by applicants to validate the information and make informed decision.
AAM does not bind itself to shortlist any supplier for whatever reason and reserves the right to cancel or complete this pre-qualification process.
