Workforce Recruitment Services Seeks to recruit the following position on behalf of our Client.

Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Blantyre

Role Overview

The sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales targets, maximizing sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment. The successful candidate will sell the company’s products and services to both existing and prospective customers, using a relationship-based approach to secure new business accounts. They will have a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, including the terms of sale and warranty policies, special deals, benefits and features.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Sales

  • Achieve monthly sales targets as determined by the company.
  • Promote/Sell/Secure Orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrate vehicles to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

2.  Business Development

  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the company.
  • Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.

3.  Customer Service

  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and technical service groups.
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

4.  Marketing Analysis

  • Analyse the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organisation.
  • Identify advantages and compare competitor products/services
  • Plan and organise personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Keep abreast of products applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services areas.

5.  Events and Conventions

  • Participate in trade shows and conventions.

General:

  • The incumbent must be committed to the meeting of all reporting deadlines which may require working out of normal hours from time to time.
  • The above job description is subject to change in future but any changes will be agreed with the incumbent before implementation.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned from time to time.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s  degree  in   Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.  
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a marketing role, preferably with multi-channel campaign experience.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customercentric approach.
  • Proficiency in sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
  • Creativity and adaptability in tailoring sales approaches for different clients/markets.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently.
