Position: Cookstove Field Officers
Location: Kasungu
Organization: Community Development Initiative (CDI)

Community Development Initiative (CDI) is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Cookstove Field Officers. The successful candidates will support our community-based programs aimed at promoting the use of clean and efficient cookstoves to improve environmental sustainability and household well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize and engage community members on the benefits of clean cookstoves.
  • Support training, demonstrations, and awareness campaigns at the community level.
  • Collect and report data on project activities and outcomes.
  • Work closely with community leaders and households to encourage adoption of cookstoves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in line with project objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or higher.
  • Aged between 18–40 years.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in community mobilization or development work will be an added advantage.
  • Resident of Kasungu or willing to work in Kasungu District.
