ABOUT HELP A CHILD MALAWI
Help a Child Malawi is a Faith Based Organisation, an affiliate of Red een Kind in Netherlands. The organisation operates to provide a future for children in need, their families and communities. Since 2010, Help a Child implements interventions in Early Childhood Development, natural resources conservation and agri-business in Nkhata-Bay, Rumphi, Mzimba and Nkhota-kota districts.
Help a Child Malawi, in cooperation with Nkhata-Bay district Council will be implementing an EU funded project on Natural Resources management, restoration and regeneration in Nkhata-Bay district. The project aims at Improving natural resource management to prevent land degradation and encroachment, and to enhance biodiversity, biomass, food security, and livelihoods for selected catchment areas. The project will run for 4 years from 2025 to 2028.
Help a Child Malawi promotes workforce diversity and ensures inclusion in terms of gender, nationality, background and culture.

Reporting Lines
The project officer will work under the overall supervision of the program manager for Help a Child Malawi and will work closely with Nkhata-Bay District Council.
