Agrivest Limited, a leading agribusiness in Malawi, is seeking 3 dedicated and hardworking candidates to join our team. The successful candidates must be willing to live and work in a rural location and will play a key role in supporting our farm operations.
Irrigation Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Certificate in Irrigation, Agriculture, or related field (higher qualification an advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in irrigation supervision, preferably in large-scale farming.
- Strong technical knowledge of drip irrigation systems.
- Computer literacy with ability to capture and report data digitally.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Willingness to live and work in a remote farm location.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and operate drip irrigation systems according to established schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the field irrigation maintenance team.
- Monitor and evaluate irrigation performance across the farm.
- Capture and maintain accurate irrigation records digitally.
- Report on system performance, challenges, and improvements.
