JOB OPPORTUNITY: SECURITY GUARDS (4 POSITIONS)
Kaning’a CCAP Church, located in Area 47 Sector 4, P.O. Box 31339, Lilongwe 3, Malawi, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and dedicated individuals to fill four (4) vacant positions of Security Guard.
REPORTS TO: Church Administrator
JOB TYPE: Three years contract subject to renewal depending on performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols to ensure church premises are secure.
- Maintain presence at assigned duty posts and adhere to duty rosters.
- Monitor and control access to the church premises.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies (security, fire, medical, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents and activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement as necessary.
- Enforce church security and safety policies.
- Manage proper shift handovers.
- Direct traffic before/after church services and events.
- Guard and manage inventory of construction materials on-site.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must possess a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- High level of integrity and discipline.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Sound knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Physically fit and alert.
