POST: RADIOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN
GRADE: K/M8
LOCATION: CHITIPA DISTRICT COUNCIL
SALARY : Within The Grade Of K/M8 Salary Segment
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Radiography Technology obtained from accredited institutions and must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
Duties of Post
- Receiving, ensuring a cordial welcome and guiding X-Ray clients
- Providing sound advice to patients before taking X-Ray pictures
- Taking X-Ray pictures on a patient and interpret the results
- Checking and replacing chemicals for the dark room
- Conducting audits of patient file to monitor patients care
- Scanning patients using the ultra sound scanning machine and interpret the results
- Promoting a safe working environment by adhering to infection prevention procedures
