Position: CAD Draughtsman/Technician
A Civil Engineering Consulting Firm based in Blantyre but with assignments across Malawi and provides multi-disciplinary services in the following sectors:
- Irrigation Engineering
- Water Supply and Sanitation
- Structural and Building Engineering
Is looking for placement of CAD Draughtsman/Technician for Engineering Projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Interpreting and visualizing designs from engineers.
- Producing detailed technical drawings for construction or other relevant projects.
- Ensuring drawings adhere to industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborating with other drafters and team members.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams on design changes and updates.
- Organizing and maintaining drawing files and project documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles.
- Experience with 2D and 3D modeling.
- Knowledge of engineering and architectural design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in civil engineering and construction work
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
- Experience with other CAD software packages.
