As we scale our operations, we are seeking a Junior Business Development Associate who is ambitious, resourceful, and eager to grow into a career in consulting. This role is designed for someone with a winning mentality, grit, and a client-centered approach, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support proposal writing, concept note development, and business pitches.
- Conduct desk research and contribute to market analysis and opportunity scans.
- Draft reports, presentations, and client-facing documents.
- Assist in preparing budgets, costing sheets, and financial bids.
- Coordinate with internal teams to track deliverables and deadlines.
- Manage and update KCM’s business development pipeline.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings and client engagements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Environmental Science, Development Studies, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, research, or business development.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization (Power BI, Stata, R, or Python) is an added advantage.
- Prior exposure to international organizations, donor-funded projects, or leading consulting firms is desirable.
