Purpose
This position exists to efficiently perform Accounts Payable (AP) processes in compliance with company policies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling VAT, withholding tax, and fringe benefit tax returns.
- Regularly reconcile vendor balances.
- Reviewing Accounts Payables open item status on regular basis.
- Preparing Telegraphic Transfer applications for foreign invoices, ensure timely payments to vendors and effectively resolve vendor queries.
- Ensuring timely clearance of Accounts Payables downpayments per JTI policy and procedures.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or equivalent, ACCA, CIMA , ACA, CMA will have an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years Finance , preferably in manufacturing or agriculture.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft office and SAP/ERP experience.
- Analysis and problem-solving skills.
