Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS)

Malawi National Council of Sports (MNCS) was established by an Act of Parliament, Act Number 10 of 1974, with mandate to develop, promote, encourage and control all forms of sport in Malawi. In order to fulfil its mandate, MNCS invites applications from suitably qualified and experience candidates to fill various vacant positions as follows

Human Resource Management Officer
Grade: CS5
Reporting to: Director of Human Resources and Administration

Position function

To provide human resource management services for effective delivery of MNCS mandate

Main Duties

  1. Interpreting, administering and advising staff on HR Policies and Procedures
  2. Implementing Staff Training and Development Programs
  3. Administering employee disciplinary and grievance processes
  4. Administering occupational safety, health and welfare activities
  5. Administering Performance Management System
  6. Evaluating and updating Job Profiles and maintenance of staff records.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree in Human Resources Management/Business Administration/Public Administration
  • 4 years’ experience in Human resources Management
  • Working knowledge of Malawi Labour Laws Good communication and interpersonal skills
