ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Lilongwe – Pondamali Trading Centre
Department: Finance & Accounts
Job Purpose
To manage the financial activities of the factory by ensuring accurate recording, analysis, and reporting of all financial transactions. The role supports production efficiency through cost control, budget monitoring, and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Accounting (ICAM), Finance, or related field (degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of basic cost accounting principles is an advantage.
