The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) is a government owned Microfinance Institution whose mission is to economically empower ordinary and underserved Malawian (particularly women, youth, and persons with disability) through the provision of quality, affordable and sustainable microfinance services for Improved.

SENIOR MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (NF5)

The position is tenable at NEEF Headquarters.

Reporting to Marketing and Communications Manager

Job Purpose

To support the development, review and effective implementation of policies, plans, strategies and programmes with the aim of ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Providing input in the development and review of effective marketing and communication policies, plans, budgets, procedures and customer feedback mechanisms
  2. Implementing marketing and communication policies, plans, budgets and procedures.
  3. Monitoring and implementing mechanisms to align with industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing and communication
  4. Developing brand guidelines and templates and promotional materials that effectively communicate the Fund’s services.
  5. Implementing and optimizing marketing and communication technologies and tools.
  6. Representing the Fund at events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for its mission.
  7. Establishing and maintaining partnerships with government entities, NGOs, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.
  8. Drafting and reviewing periodic reports for submission to management as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field obtained from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a similar role in customer service management or marketing roles, preferably within the financial sector or non-profit organizations.
