SENIOR ICT OFFICER INFRASTRUCTURE (NF5)
Reporting to Chief ICT Infrastructure Officer
Job Purpose
To troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assisting in the implementation of Infrastructure upgrades under the guidance of the Chief ICT Officer – Infrastructure
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting regular inspections and basic maintenance of ICT infrastructure including networks, servers, storage, work stations and data centres.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption of NEEF’s ICT services and escalate unresolved problems to the Chief ICT Officer – Infrastructure.
- Contributing to technical tasks within infrastructure projects and ensuring timely completion and alignment with NEEF’s needs.
- Providing first-line support for end users, addressing basic network connectivity and system performance.
- Setting up and configuring workstations, peripherals, and basic network components.
- Maintaining accurate records of hardware and software inventory including infrastructure and configurations and updates for audit purposes.
- Preparing infrastructure data.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field from an NCHE accredited institution;
- 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role
