CHIEF DATA MANAGEMENT OFFICER- NF 4
The position is tenable at NEEF Headquarters.
Reporting to ICT Manager
Job Purpose
To collect, analyze, and manage data effectively to support comprehensive credit analysis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collecting, cleaning, and maintaining accurate data from internal and external sources to ensure reliability.
- Designing and implementing data collection processes that align with NEEF’s strategic objectives.
- Organizing data systematically and making it accessible to facilitate reporting and analysis.
- Analyzing data to generate insightful reports, identifying trends and patterns for program improvement.
- Developing and presenting data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to inform decision-making.
- Providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic and operational goals.
- Monitoring and assessing the quality of data by identifying errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Conducting regular audits and implementing data validation rules to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data in system reports.
- Monitoring and promoting proper use and management of data at branch and zone levels.
- Providing in-house training and guidance on data management best practices and
- Documenting data sources, metadata, and procedures for auditing and reference
Qualifications and Experience
- Masters’s Degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field obtained from an accredited institution by NCHE;
- 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
