MASM Medi Clinics Ltd is one of the health care services providers in Malawi with medical clinics in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Zomba, and Mzuzu. Our Clinics serve both MASM and Non-MASM members.
In an effort to strengthen our technical capacity we are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions:
ANAESTHETIC CLINICAL OFFICER
Location: Kanjedza Clinic
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operative assessment, administer and monitor anaesthesia intra-operatively, and provide post-operative care.
- Adherence to established protocols and guidelines regarding administration of anaesthesia and the profession.
- Help resuscitate and stabilise unwell patients in critically ill and emergency situations.
Educational qualifications experience and attributes
- Minimum of Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine from a recognized institution
- At least 2 years practical experience in a busy operating theatre of a hospital.
- Emotional resilience, a calm temperament and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Outstanding organisational ability and effective decision-making skills.
- Must be registered and in good standing with the Medical Council of Malawi.
