MASM Medi Clinics Ltd is one of the health care services providers in Malawi with medical clinics in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Zomba, and Mzuzu. Our Clinics serve both MASM and Non-MASM members.
In an effort to strengthen our technical capacity we are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following vacant positions:
SPECIALIST PAEDITRICIAN
Location: Kanjedza
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer vaccines according to the Ministry of Health (MoH) vaccination plan.
- Examine newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
- Advise parents on children’s diet and disease preventive measures.
- Diagnose and treat sick neonates and children.
- Give professional backup and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
- Contribute to the development of paediatric care services across MASM Medi-Clinics.
Educational qualifications experience and attributes
- Medical Degree with specialization in pediatrics.
- Proven experience as a pediatrician.
- Experience managing a neonatal unit, paediatric nursery and HDU.
- In depth knowledge of epidemiology of infectious diseases in children.
- Valid license to practice as a Paediatrician.
