Due to new product development and innovation projects, new job opportunities have arisen in our Marketing Department. We are therefore looking for an ambitious, experienced, and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as the Corporate Events Manager.
Purpose
The Corporate Events Manager is responsible for receiving and managing corporate sponsorship requests, ensuring the implementation of the approved sponsorships, organize internal and external corporate events for the company with the support of the Trade Marketing team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Communication and Corporate Events, the Corporate Events Manager, will be required to carry out the following duties, among others:
- Initiate drafts and submit sponsorship and event files for validation with the Head of Communication Corporate Events.
- Receive and process sponsorship and event requests from external parties.
- Prepare post-activity reports.
- Supervise the branding of events and sponsored activities.
- Manage the implementation of projects and events concerning Castel Malawi in collaboration with the teams: events, exhibitions, fairs and other PR events.
- Coordinate setup and dismantling for all sponsored or brand-related events.
- Ensure that branding materials are in proper condition and carry out maintenance where necessary.
Education & Experience
The ideal candidates should have, at least the following qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Communication, or Marketing, or Customer Relations, or Events or Sales, preferably with 3 years’ experience in Communication and Corporate Events management in a similar role in an FMCG Industry.
Key Competencies
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Organisation and planning skills.
- Familiar with event tools and logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Ability to work in a team.
