HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Location: Lilongwe

Job purpose

To oversees all aspects of human resources within an organization, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. They play a vital role in strategic planning, talent management, and fostering a positive work environment.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Timely recruitment and selection.
  • Comprehensive employee onboarding to ensure assimilation of new hires to call center industry.
  • Attrition management including tracking of monthly trends.
  • Accurate Payroll management.
  • Ensure HR statutory compliance.
  • Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
  • Actively drive monthly Employee Engagement activities.
  • Participate in Performance management, Learning and Development activities.
  • Prepare and track succession planning.
  • Meaningful HR Analytics

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent course.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in an HR management role; with minimum of three (3) years in a call center environment.  Experience in offshore environment will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
  • Must be highly organized, attention to detail and good at analyzing data
  • Demonstrated experience in handling multiple projects; within tight timelines.
  • Proficient in MS word, Excel and Power point.
  • Excellent understanding of Malawi labor laws.
  • Familiar with Balanced Scorecard model
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Demonstrates a good work ethic.
