Post: Senior Assistant Audio Visual Technician

Responsible to: Chief Senior Assistant Audio Visual Technician

Purpose of the job
To operate the Chamber, Committee rooms and outdoor audio visual systems.
Duties of the Post
- Sets up audio visual system and equipment in the Chamber and Committee rooms;
- Regularly inspect, test, maintain and report all audio visual equipment to ensure proper functionality;
- Records parliamentary proceedings, committee and other events;
- Provides support to stakeholders on effective use of audio visual equipment;
- Maintains and troubleshoots audio visual equipment;
- Operates in Chamber control unit;
- Provides technical support to Members in the use of electronic and sound gadgets in the Chamber, Committee meetings and other events;
- Works closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure audio visual requirements are met for various functions; and
- Manages and appraises staff under his or her charge.
Qualifications and experience
Diploma in Electronics or Audio Visual Production or related discipline with two (2) years working experience in audio visual work.
